Honey-Mustard Sausages with Rustic Roasties

Hey Sand Stars

Admittedly, I was never a huge fan of cooking and baking, but as I’ve grown older I seem to find it more enjoyable 🙂

I usually make pastas, curries and bakes as well as cakes, muffins, scones and cookies and sometimes I’m in the mood to try something different!

Thought I’d share a recipe for one of my new dishes with you. This one is perfect for a Saturday: not too light or too heavy for lunch!

6 sausages

1 onion (sliced)

4 cubed potatoes

1 sweet potato

2 tbsp honey (should be runny)

2 tbsp mustard seeds

olive oil

sprigs of rosemary

1) Heat oven to 220 degrees (gas oven: 7). Put sausages and veg into non-stick pan (drizzle with a little olive oil) and roast for about 20 mins.

2) Mix honey, mustard seeds and pour mixture over the sausages and veg; mixing gently. Add rosemary sprigs.

3) Cook further for 10-15 mins until potatoes are done and sausages are golden-brown.

Bon apetit!

An easy, yummy meal for the weekend.
